As someone who is preparing for my own attempt in the next 3 years there is so much to glean and learn from Mike, even as young as he is, it takes a lot of courage to take on something this immense and his passion and his emotions really show through in his tellling of his story......and to the guy who was critisizing the title of Mike's book.....who are you to judge this young man and I dare you to find the cojones to go and take on a challenge like this, unless and until you have been on the ocean for any length of time you have no right to judge Mike, myself or anyone who has come before to take on the last great challenge on this planet.

Cool book first his sail across the atlantic when he was 14 Then he sailed around the world at 17. The book was well laid out in different sections.

What he did was extraordinary, but he's not a writer. This book would have benefited from a decent editor, and if he writes again I hope he gets one. Worth reading, but get it from the library don't buy it.
